About
Olivia is a PhD student at CASA, continuing her academic journey at UCL after completing a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistical Science and an MSc in Urban Spatial Science.
Her master’s dissertation examined migration flows between more and less deprived neighbourhoods in London and their relationship with neighbourhood improvement and gentrification. Building on this work, she is interested in using urban modelling to explore how residential decisions shape wider patterns of population and neighbourhood change.
Outside research, Olivia is happiest halfway up a boulder outdoors. Her love of climbing has led to a year working part-time as a climbing coach, and she dreams of opening her own climbing gym one day.
